The ACM SIGPLAN International Conference on Functional Programming (ICFP) is a new annual conference combining the established LISP and Functional Programming (LFP) and Functional Programming and Computer Architecture (FPCA) conferences. ICFP is a forum for discussion of the design, analysis, implementation, and application of functional programming languages, including established languages such as Lisp, Scheme, Sisal, ML, Haskell, and Id, as well as novel designs in the functional programming tradition.
The program committee welcomes papers on a diversity of topics. Papers relating to both imperative and assignment-free functional programming languages and systems are welcome. Papers presented at the symposium must describe work that has not previously been published or presented in any major or widely disseminated forum.
